The Bookworm Poem

Stupid book, stupid book, where are you?

You're so sneaky I don’t know what to do.

I set you down,

There on the ground,

But when I come back, you're nowhere to be found.

Stupid book, stupid book WHERE ARE YOU?!?!?!?!

I feel so blue

Here without you.

Can you please come back so they can read you, too?

I just know everyone will love you.

Stupid book, stupid, I see you!!

I found you again,

Now you’re my best friend.

Stupid book, stupid book, I’m SO glad I have you.
