Boys' Soccer Season 2017
Bonny Eagle Middle School’s 7th and 8th grade boys had a very good and exceptional year of soccer! Both grades had 4 wins and 4 loses. With the 8th graders also having a tie. Mr. Miremadi is the science teacher for Stirling Clan and coaches the 8th graders. He stated, “The 8th grade Boys team had a great season. We finished at 4-4-1, but played a very sound, fundamental game. In almost all games, we beat our opponents in time of possession and passing accuracy. Our team exhibited exemplary sportsmanship and played hard all season long.”
The 7th grade team’s coach, Mr. Drinkwater, is a Physical Education teacher for BEMS. He had a simple, straight statement, one of his favorite quotes that he truly believes in.
“T- Together
E- Everyone
A- Achieves
M- More.”
Team Captain Carson Roberts says, “It was a great commited season.” Carson Roberts was one of the 3 captains of the 7th grade boys.
Jack Breault, defense, was one of the 7th grade team players. He says, “A great season.”
I thought the season was solid and went very well. My teammates were, as Mr. Drinkwater said, more achieving this year than ever. I think we put in all the effort, a true team needed and that showed.
